Biography

Grazia Varisco was born in Milan in 1937
A versatile artist, a pupil of Achille Funi, she attended the Academy of Fine Arts from 1956 to 1960 In1960, as an exponent of Gruppo T, together with Giovanni Anceschi, Davide Boriani, Gianni Colombo and Gabriele De Vecchi, she was active in Milan and her research focused mainly on programmed and kinetic art In 1962, Grazia Varisco, together with the members of Gruppo T, participated in the Miriorama events and the Arte programmata exhibition, a travelling exhibition organised by Bruno Munari and presented between 1962 and 1965 in the Olivetti Stores in Milan, Rome and Venice From 1963 onwards he exhibited, both in Italy and abroad, at exhibitions of the international Nouvelle Tendance movement
From the mid-1960s, having distanced herself from Group T, Grazia Varisco continued her experimentation and exhibition activity independently
